You have to export it to a .IFC file

  • File > Export > IFC
  • Select IFC version IFC 2×3 Coordination View 2.0
  • Save

You should be able to open the file in Revit 2014

  • File > Open (just hover over the open button) > IFC
  • In the OPEN dialogue box, the .IFC file option will be there

Of course you will need to find a way to have this file converted first, given you cannot open it on the version you have but once you do this is the way. There is no way at the moment to convert Revit files online so you may need to ask someone who has the latest version or download a trial version and convert your files for use.
