Keeping up with your CPD

Nazart

I usually attend CPD events where I can as it gives you the chance to meet other professionals in the field, and it's a good way to make contacts with new people.

https://www.directcontactexhibitions.com/  always had a day of interesting CPD with a variety of people from across the field and not just architects. Due to the current situation they are currently giving links to webinars that you can sign up for, these are some that they had recently:

I hope this is useful.

I feel this is quite similar to what the BD have to offer. You can find some of their latest at https://cpd.building.co.uk/courses/cpd-7-2020-building-regs-parts-l-and-f-planned-changes/

Its a matter of going through the written text and then answering questions by signing in.... if you complete it you will get the CPD certificate. It's good because you can do this in your own time.

I used to go to a lot of events at the Building Centre, situated on Store Street, London.

NLA (New London Architecture) host all their events and exhibitions there.

They have a variety of projects and you get to meet the architects behind them. The best thing for me is that they are free, though they get fully booked quickly. Regardless, it has been quiet recently because of the Covid lockdown and they haven't had much online.

The Building Centre is also good for products (their basement level has a host of products that you can look at and get information on).
