WSA Festival 2021 DAY 03 Computation & Innovation | 'Anything but a Box' Workshop

In this workshop, we look beyond traditional methods of design and construction, instead, introducing the language of parametric form-finding using physical modelling as our tool of exploration.

We will look at several different methods of form-finding including tensile structures, geodesics and other geometries, before letting you try your own form-finding at home(material list will be emailed to you). Join us to investigate new technology, practice and materials to produce an original concept that’s ‘anything but a box’.

Workshop run by Georgina Myers (MArch) https://www.gemyers.co.uk/
