What does the UK infrastructure sector need to do to support net zero goals?

CPD Events

First aired: 12 May 2022

Achieving net zero in the UK will require a significant rethink of the infrastructure systems that both currently exist and are under development. To reach net zero targets, the UK needs to at least double the size of its electricity system, create a hydrogen economy, and develop carbon capture and storage infrastructure.

In this session hear from firms involved in the push to develop the net zero infrastructure the country needs. Our panel of experts will not only discuss what the sector needs to deliver if the UK is to its net zero targets, but also how it will be done. They will also explore the barriers to the development of net zero infrastructure and how they can be overcome.
