CPD Events

First aired: 12 May 2022

Construction material related emissions account for 28% of the total global emissions from buildings and the construction sector. With buildings becoming more efficient operationally, the carbon impact from construction materials can account for up to between 40% and 70% over the life of a building. This means that as the push toward net zero ramps up built environment firms are facing increasingly tough choices about how and what they use to deliver projects.

In this session hear from our panel of experts as they discuss sustainable material options, green alternatives and circular economy principles. Drawn from across the supply chain, the panel will discuss key considerations and concerns for different parts of the sector as well as on different project types.
