SITMA, the Sound Insulation Testing & Measurement Association, changed the level of compliance in the sound testing industry using a clever IT system, which sees all testers notify their locations in advance, conduct automatic fraud checking and creating reports using raw data, all but eliminating the risk of fraud and increasing the levels of compliance. This presentation discusses the inspiration, the research, and the journey behind how this happened as well as lessons learned.
