The RIBA China Chapter is pleased to initiate the Women in Architecture Digital Nexus (WIADN), an online platform that connects female architects in China and globally, sharing their stories and celebrating their success. In January 2021, the programme launched with a roundtable on “Women as Architects: The aspirations, the success, the sweat and the struggle.” Five leading architects participated to share their personal career development journey and discuss the opportunities and challenges for women in architecture, the importance of mentorship for personal growth and how to promote gender equality in the profession.
