Materials in Focus is a new series of AJ lunchtime webinars in which explore the use of materials in design and looking at how architects can specify these materials more sustainably. Each session is dedicated to a specific material and is chaired by a member of our AJ editorial team.

The first session took place on Thursday 18th March, supported by Michelmersh and Vandersanden, which focused on the use of ‘Brick’.

The panel included:

Will Gamble, director, Will Gamble Architects

The three practices gave a short presentation focusing on one of their projects, followed by a Q&A.
