The seminar offers presentations and case studies from architects and materials experts.

We will cover the latest products and materials and explore how collaboration between architects, their clients, consultants and manufacturers are helping create better designed, inspiring, sustainable and future-proof bespoke house architecture.

Featured speakers include:

• Alan Power, Founder, Alan Power Architects who joins us to share insights on a selection of projects included in his book, At Home in the City: Domestic Architecture for Challenging Urban Sites, to be published by RIBA Books in 2026.
• Christopher Taylor, Co-Founder, Taylor Hare Architects who joins us to deliver a case study presentation on award-winning The Hall, a sensitively upgraded Grade II listed 16th Century residence that shows how centuries old architecture can be beautifully and sustainably repurposed.
• William Burges, Director, 31/44 Architects will joins us to deliver a case study presentation on award winning Six Columns, a residence described as ‘part farmhouse and part California Case Study house’, with a ‘Brutalist application of materials’.
