This is a recording of a livestream event that took place on 26 April 2022.

Each week architects reveal what it takes to design and deliver an inspiring and impactful building, followed by a live interactive Q&A session. The event is hosted by a member of the RIBA’s Awards Group, Chantal Wilkinson (Wilkinson King Architects), who visited the buildings, capitalising on their first-hand knowledge and appreciation of the project.

The Dorothy Wadham College Building, Oxford, Allies and Morrison – with a contemporary twist, the architectural language of this student accommodation is inspired by the traditional villas along the adjacent Iffley Road. The project won a 2021 RIBA National Award and South Award.

Centre Building at LSE, RSH&P - strongly integrated into its tight urban context as two asymmetrical slab blocks with a shared podium at the heart of LSE’s campus, this project won a 2021 RIBA National Award and London Award.
