Under the new Building Safety Act, a Safety Case Report must be submitted to the Building Safety Regulator for existing and new higher-risk buildings.
The Safety Case Report needs to demonstrate how fire and structural safety risks that could lead to a major incident are being managed, providing a summary of the steps the Principal Accountable Person has taken to identify, assess, remove, reduce, and manage building safety risks, thus demonstrating that reasonable and proportionate steps have been taken.
