This presentation will focus on an understanding of BS9251:2021 which is the British Standard for automatic fire sprinklers in Residential and Domestic buildings.

The presentation will cover topics such as sprinkler head selection, pipe materials, system classification, tank sizing, legislation, non-protected areas and it will have a particular focus on blocks of flats (and other buildings over 18m) and what options there are for water supplies, zoning of the system, monitoring and the impact of non-residential areas. Questions are very welcome.
