This CPD will cover topics including the functionality and applications of membranes, the new Euroclass A2-limited combustible membrane, UK building standards for membranes in high-rise buildings, what the experts say, applicable building types, independent certifications, reasons for using limited combustible membranes, and fire tests: Euroclass A2,B and E rated membranes. By the end of the CPD you should have a greater understanding of:

• Why A2 membranes fit as part of a facade system
• Why vertical wall membranes should not be exempt from a Euroclass A2 wall system
• That it is not a damp proof or roof membrane
• The types of independent tests
• The benefits of having Euroclass A2 membranes fitted in support new build and re-cladding
