It's been a sad week for architecture. Another great contributor to the profession has died.
Richard Rogers was an architect who championed the importance of design quality, urban densification and creating high-quality public realms.
So sad, I remember the first time I went to Paris....even before I started architecture and I saw the Pompidou building. It was truly breath-taking as it made such an impact not only visually but when you experienced it as well. It's still the one building I always visit when in Paris.
